For families

Headlines Family Weekend is our main annual event, bringing families together in a safe enclosed environment, where every child’s difference and disability is accepted.   It provides an opportunity for children with craniofacial-related conditions and their siblings to take part in a range of activities, giving them the chance to overcome the physical limitations of their health conditions, and to make friends with other children like them.

The Weekend also gives parents a chance to share experiences and to support each other.

The 2022 Family Weekend is being held at The Pioneer Centre in Shropshire on the weekend of the 16th-18th September.   Situated in stunning countryside on the edge of the Wyre Forest,  the Centre is within easy reach of Birmingham and the national motorway network and provides a range of indoor and outdoor activities from its 25 acre Canadian- themed site.      Accommodation is in six en-suite wings, catering for families of up to 8  – for further details, please email us info@headlines.org.uk

Financial support

Having a child with a craniofacial condition can sometimes present additional financial challenges.   Our Welfare Fund provides one-off grants of up to £250  to support member families with the costs of equipment and other expenses related to their child’s condition which may not be covered from other sources.    You can download further information and an  application form here:
