George Edwards

George is a third-year Biological Sciences student at the University of Exeter and has been closely involved with Headlines as a volunteer over several years.   His brother was born with sagittal craniosynostosis.  With the launch of the Research Committee and Research Fund in 2020, he took on the position of Research Administrator and hopes that from this role, he will gain key experience in the field of research to apply to his own research career in the future.

 

Fun fact: George enjoys watersports such as kayaking and sailing and kayaked up the Scottish Lochs for his Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award.
